Tell us why. We’ll tell you how.
At some point, every homeowner considers his or her option to remodel, or even to build a new home entirely. It’s a big decision, and every consideration should be taken into account. We can help you through this process by listening to your needs and wants, and by shedding light on certain elements of the process that you hadn’t thought of. When you feel you are ready to make a change, give us a call and we will walk you through it step by step.
There are many factors to consider when deciding between a remodel and building a new home:
A Few Additions
You may want to make a few additions to your house, while keeping the overall structure intact. Often times this is doable, but in certain scenarios, given the condition of the house, age, and updates in the codes, certain additions might cost you more than if you were to demo the home and start from scratch. If the idea of saying goodbye to your home makes you unhappy, then we do not recommend doing so. After all, our primary goal is to make you happy in your home, even if that means doing nothing.
Renovate The Interior
Alternately, perhaps you want to keep the shell of your home, and renovate the interior entirely. If it is within your budget, and you are happy driving up to your house and seeing that old familiar façade, then we recommend gutting the inside and renovating the interior with modern amenities.
Everyone has unique tastes, needs and desires. It is up to us to gather as much information about you and your home so that we can create a plan that best accommodates your lifestyle. So even if you haven’t committed to building a new home or remodeling, we are here to listen and provide you with our professional advice.
