Getting Started on Your Home Remodel

Once you know you’re in a position to remodel or add on to your home, the next step is to give us a call. We will come out to your home and discuss your ideas in detail; we want to know what types of changes you have in mind so that we can create the perfect solution.

There are many reasons you may want to remodel or make additions, and they are all valid. It’s our job to know exactly what types of changes you desire, and to help those visions become a reality.

Measurements

Once we understand the scope of the project, we will return to your home and take measurements. It’s likely your home was built many years ago, and we will need to know the plans of your house as if we were the ones who created them. In other words, we will need to reverse engineer your home. Here’s what we’ll do:

Measure your entire home, or the areas pertinent to the remodel/addition
Inspect the building materials and underlying structure
Generate as built drawings (your home’s plans as they currently exist)
Create conceptual sketch based off of as built drawings

Once we finish measuring your home and creating the new design, we will get your feedback regarding any revisions and modifications before the final construction drawings are completed. After construction begins, it will only be a matter of time before you are enjoying your home in a new way. You will notice immediately how much an upgrade to your home is really an upgrade to your life and happiness.
